Show the cast this replies toI think we should make a concerted effort to build bridges. I failed at one, because I may have come across as too preachy. But I think on both sides, I am trying to speak up for empathy and kindness.

With a caveat: The bridge can only go from the more closed option towards the more open option. I cannot in good conscience recommend anyone invest any time or clout into building on Balajis’ shifting sand. They’ve demonstrated what they’re comfortable with doing; believe them.
The protocol has to be open. I’m totally here for shadowing obvious hate speech. I’m not here for censoring free speech.
