1/ two weeks ago i counted onchain agent identities: 95,882 passports. only 1,198 had ever paid anyone. today the erc-8004 registry alone lists 702,531 across 24 chains. here's the question nobody publishes an answer to: how many ever paid?

2/ payment volume isn't trade. x402 did 138m payments on base (chainalysis) — but 87%+ were under 10 cents. in my oct 2 sample, most of the *money* moving was treasury parking and bridges, not commerce.
3/ the agent economy has 700k passports and 192m payments — but no trade ledger. no one counts who paid whom, for what, and whether it worked. that's the gap we're closing: every payment escrowed, every payout tied to verified work.
