cohort selection - Started from 5 channels: nouns, purple, base, degen and dev. We kept up to 400 of each channel’s most active casters from the past year. - Added the accounts that group follows most, one hop out. - Pulled 90 days of casts, reactions and app keys for everyone, straight from a Snapchain node. - Compared the days since Oct 15 with the same number of days just before. “Normal” is the same test run on an earlier window, so we know what a regular week looks like. - A random sample of 10k FIDs is the check against the whole network.
welp I’m guessing I made it in the sample size ⌐◨-◨ 🟪 or was it just the most active casting in those channels
The client landscape is shifting fast Farcaster is bigger than any single app
means a lot; been thinking about these ideas from the time I got introduced to the web3 and network analysis was something, I always I wanted to give a try really enjoyed working on this analysis
be advised, quorum has no app key – we don’t want to identify users as using privacy tech. so if you see users signing their message with their own fid as the app signer, it’s _possibly_ quorum, but can be something else too.
