ONE SENTENCE Network School uses Farcaster’s open social protocol to build opt-in communities with explicit rules, a productive crypto economy, and the capacity to become real-world startup societies.
ONE PICTURE One protocol. Many societies. From online identity and shared rules to productive communities that can meet and build in the physical world.
ONE THOUSAND WORDS (1/5) Start with the distinction: Farcaster is a protocol. Network School is building a society through a client on that protocol. The protocol gives people portable accounts, posts and social connections. Different apps use the same foundation. The Network School client adds its own culture, rules and ambition. These are not the same thing. That matters because an open protocol can support competing social environments. One client might prize maximum free expression. Another might prioritise civility, proof of humanity or productive work. Neither should need to own your identity to offer those choices. Social networks can become more than feeds. Groups can form around shared values, develop trust, coordinate work and eventually meet in person.
