I feel for experienced devs. I know someone who’s just stuck in some kind of (existential?) angst and nihilism about AI. Also I think the whole game is pretty much just pay to play no? Monkey with Claude Max 20x is better than the dev with 20 years of experience.
Same with mathematicians right now. Lots of existential dread flying around. I fell for all of them. Nobody deserves to be put in that position, even if the whole world benefits long term from the advent of AI (those two positions can both be true). I created a walkable 3D render of Jose Luis Borges’ Library of Babel last weekend. Fully programmatically and deterministicallt generated universe. Claude just oneshot the whole thing from the first prompt. I did not see nor touch a single LOC. It’s just insane.
Lmeow I immediately went to stalk your GitHub hmm I think I’m personally limited by use cases. I hate building stuff I don’t want to use myself and now that I can zero-shot anything, I’m realising that I’m not that interesting at all. The silver lining here is that if you sell B2B, a lot of room to grow, still. Cos tons of SME knowledge still needed. With real use cases. B2C is kinda boring (or I’m just v uninteresting)… and there’s no real barriers to entry anymore.
