i did a thing at argonne national laboratory and there i learned how they crash atoms into walls and record the explosions. for every explosion there are and uncountable number of "thingys" that appear and disappear in microseconds. these can be worlds, universes, particles, elements, all kinds of things... and honestly it changed the way i think of things 20 years later
