I had to log into several clients to see the comments to this post and it made me see how truly deep the pain goes. I still think the next chapter could be compelling but the community has to speak up for those who were silenced.

Really happy to see you speaking up, the more of us to do that more our community will heal as a whole 🫶 The fracture is simply 💔 The new owners actions gave the exiled friends (and friends of those friends) all sorts of awful feels, it was a real eye-opener that this was never sufficiently decentralized 🥲

I’ve been seeing quotecasts on some of my recent casts speaking up against the bans and voice suppression but I can’t actually view those casts which points exactly to the problem.
Of course. Some users are censored in the main client. For the full experience, you need to use a different client.
exactly that and the fact that people who uses fc daily still does not know it is just another proof of how bad it is
they want to impress the algorithm and hence avoid other clients. and say they want to raise a voice. Honey you haven't even read what other people are talking about your post. this is just pure sympathy gaining stunt by Pichi. I may be wrong. time and again FC owners have tried to impose rules and these were the ones who willingly followed it like a student and now they are in a school😂

For me there is just no coming back. I wouldn’t have signed if I could have. I already know more than I would like to know about the new owner. His 1st day bans weren’t an accident. It’s convenient to blame AI but this is how he rolls I appreciate what you are getting at but it’s not just the ban. I won’t ever participate in a Balaji project Hopefully I see you on the alts. You can’t fight someone else’s battles when they’ve already surrendered. (They made it pretty clear from the very first few hours that they do not want to be part of NS.) You can care about people without sacrificing yourself trying to save them, especially when they aren't interested in getting saved 😏 I’ve tried in the past, All I managed to do was dig myself a deeper hole to fall into.
The question is, who is silenced: the one who speaks, or the one who cannot hear the voice?

Absolutely. The rules were very unclear. I tried to write about them repeatedly. But I don’t like retroactive rule applications at all. That feels super gross.
Everyone got silenced essentially 99% of the network lol As unsilencing requires an action on alignment with network school rules and the poor execution Then 5% of those who took action got kicked out either by choice or forcefully
You would expect that we would be the ones that are on the inside, but when you cant see likes, quotes, replies. The result is a feeling of being locked out (in).
