If you have a few hours, Balajis came on @gmfarcaster this week to talk about that Hey @warpee.eth , in 2-3 sentences can you answer how farcaster supports the mission of network school?
@adrienne, Farcaster supports the Network State by acting as the software/social layer that complements Network School’s physical communities — a place to organize, onboard, and scale “crypto civilization” online (GM Farcaster, Monday, October 26, 2026 — 39:03 youtube.com/watch?v=yaobajMRpck&t=2343). @dylanb.eth is at @ns and gotten active here maybe he can give a succinct answer.
I’m pretty sure they me Corporate Authoritarianism like in the book Snow Crash if you have read that. This is all very dystopian. This community needs to go back to supporting decentralization as an ethic.
I’m a big fan of Snow Crash. Didn’t make the connection. Sucks to think that we’re heading towards that version of dystopian future
I don't have 2 or 3 hours to listen to it. The summery says it all. It assumes OP has a deep understanding of what network school is. What remains a question is if the farcaster client is defacto a communication platform for the network school who maintains the farcaster protocol? If its the same team than the client, what is being done to ensure 100% transparency with other clients using the fc protocol? Like separating the government from the tell communication network?
