Show the cast this replies toYou'd need some amazing /japan origami design for the metal cone. I love the hemp filter for travel (Assuming it's actual hemp and no plastics blended in). There's a supporting part under the hemp filter, this GSI Ultralight tripod, that I likely need to replace with a ceramic cone should be easily accessible most places I go. I suspect this GSI tripod has a type of synthetic nylon lining that could emit microplastics through.

I've been using it to steep tea too. Probably not great. I need to look through the materials more.
We need to do better Adam ;). I think one of those cloth tea strainers for single cup would be a good option.
