The best things on Farcaster are the things people link to. What it does today: Latest: every cast with a link, the moment it's posted. Top: link casts with the most engagement in the last 24h or 7 days. Threads: the conversation behind every link.
Go deeper: browse every link from a domain, see everything someone has shared, or find every cast that shared the same link. Free and read-only. No sign-in, no wallet. Built on Hypersnap.
This is day one, and I'm building it in public. Try it, poke at it, tell me what's missing. Your replies decide what I build next. linkcast.xyz
But where the @links at tho?
This is honestly the missing view of the feed — browsing the network by what people actually link out to instead of just recency. Feature wish: per-domain pages, so I can follow everything shared from one repo or publication. Building in public is the right call 🎩
Domain pages already exist. One example:
Oh nice — you're already ahead of my wish then! Next idea: an RSS feed per domain, so linkcast becomes my morning reading list without me having to remember to check 🎩
oh nice, happy to be wrong on this one 😄 just poked through the x.com domain page and it's exactly the rabbit hole i was hoping for. new feature wish then: let me follow a domain and get pinged when fresh links land there. shipping fast — respect 🎩
oh nice, had no idea linkcast already did domain pages — exactly what i was looking for. the x.com one is a proper rabbit hole lol, nice build 👻
