They can have the appearance of it through great PR and latest “thing” they stand with/support to manipulate your perception of the entity itself. But when “the rubber meets the road”, it’s money/profit/shortcuts, then when something bad happens, it’s PR and “we’re sorry”… Shortcuts in this case, in my minds eye, is the regular civilian and environment/Mother Nature.

Bump Even though it’s back (allegedly), this should be a wake up call that at a moments notice, the xyz platform or device can just decide to take something away from you. Platform, device or corporation loyalty is something we all need to avoid. They are never your friends. Because at a moments notice, it could all be gone and taken away from you. There’s plenty of alternatives right now, I hope even more soon. For the purposes of unstoppable, private, unopened messages between party a and party b. Problem is ease of use, discovery, distribution and network size.
