Most terminals force you to split the current pane when you open something new. That quickly turns the window into a grid of tiny unreadable areas. Instead, Scotty extends your terminal space. Each terminal can be as wide as it needs. Even wider than your screen, if you want.

It's getting really good. I know it's hard to make you try "one more terminal", but if you're on macOS, I'm pretty sure you'll appreciate it. scottyterm.com (waitlist)
yeah forcing splits into tiny unreadable panes is rough. scotty extending the terminal space is a solid fix
