Waiting for some major development in the Middle East, but I don’t know in which direction. On the one hand, Trump negotiating privately with Russia and China suggests he’s willing to give up Ukraine in return for a truce with Iran and a reopening of Hormuz ahead of the midterms. On the other, all non-emergency personnel and their families are being evacuated from US diplomatic missions across the Middle East, rather signaling a possible escalation.

I dont think trump has the cards, he can't drop a Moab, they obviously are scared to fly over Iranian air space, Iran's best bet is to make trump bleed politically till midterms, and any hand trump plays here is a guaranteed loser
I lean team bluff too — the recent pro-Putin signals coming from the White House (suspending the new sanctions package, the Russian diesel deal, the throttling of Starlink, Witkoff calling Putin a humanitarian, Trump blaming Zelenskyy for prolonging the war for personal gains, etc) are not coincidental to the untenable situation in the Middle East. I think it’s more likely than not that the Iranians will announce a reopening of the Strait soon thanks to some unholy backroom deal
Can we spread a rumor that Trump, Xi, and Putin plan on a 3 way, well 4 way, if they decide they wanna finish on JD Vance’s pretty, eyeshadowed, face?
Im on fence, I still think nothing happens because it would be suicide for trump to actually try something, and Iran launches counter strike. I think they are content with making trump bleed politically till midterms( hes having to go to Mississippi to save a state wide election for god sakes) but also i think they want this to end and might try and force hand
