O and not only did he flip a plus 10 trump district he beat trumps hand picked nominee chairman of the NRCC Richard Hudson
This is the guy who said a little jail time would be worth pummeling Stephen Miller. I like him
On the campaign trail even. He also beat a really well funded and trump handpicked canidate. Hes going to be the left Mark wayne Mullin I think he'll caucaus with the dsa members in house tbh, if you look at his record hes been pretty consistent left populist his entire career( other than flipping from bernie to primary to trump in general, but lots of lean left wing guys did at the time too)
now you know why they all moved to military bases with a bunch of protection (which is such an insane thing for cabinet members to do) they're so scared of interacting with the public
impressive practically channeling the ghost of woody guthrie in that speech
He beat a really well funded canidate too, hes definitely a character though
Despite clearly reading from a prepared statement and looking down at it most of the time in that video, he still manages to come across as both genuine and charismatic, tough in his resolve but also warm and caring. That's quite a feat imo.
