Who's in Latest

Trusted Users

Latest is a chronological feed of links shared by this growing list of Farcaster users.

Trusted users: 95
Joined by invite: 6
Links shared: 290

Why there's a list

Farcaster is open to anyone, which means a lot of spam is written to the protocol. To keep the Latest feed useful, it only shows links from users on this list, which grows through invites. The idea comes from Lobsters, where every member is invited by someone who's already part of the community.

How people join

Linkcast developer ghostlinkz picked the first users on this list. From here, the people on the list decide who joins. Each person can invite up to five others with a cast like this, from any Farcaster client:

@linkcast invite @username

Tag the person you're inviting as @username. They're usually added within seconds.

Every invite is public

Each person's profile shows who invited them, so the whole list forms a tree you can follow back to the start. There's no vetting process; everyone on the list is trusted to invite people they think will share good links. If someone is removed for spam, the person who invited them may lose the ability to invite others.

Domains and Top feeds

Domain pages also only show links shared by users on this list. Top 24h and Top 7d remain unfiltered, ranking link casts made by everyone on Farcaster.
