How I ended up with two Farcaster rap sheets, and why I'm sharing them. For every banned account, Farcaster published a "rap sheet" at a public endpoint, no login needed: api.farcaster.xyz/v2/network-code/public-rap-sheet?fid=<fid> It listed each flagged post, the charge and section of the code, what the post was replying to, and how many people block or mute the account. While building my Farcaster client, I had wired that endpoint into it, so people could see why an account was banned. I shared a few previews publicly on Oct 25 and early morning of Oct 26. Early morning Oct 26 Farcaster locked it; it now returns "Authentication required." Two sheets were still in my app's cache: @cassie and @kevinmfer. This isn't to smear anyone. It's so people can see what the Network Code actually moderates.
Introducing Terminus, a lightweight, iOS first client for Hypersnap. It’s a native iPhone app built in SwiftUI, with a Rust core. It connects straight to Hypersnap nodes with no Terminus server in between, and your keys never leave your iPhone. Connect via wallet connect. Link previews and images load through a small proxy, so the sites behind them never see your IP. It’s in testflight, so feedback is very welcome:
