Not a great sign that the majority of the remaining conversations are about the NS takeover (and here to be super meta, I'm casting about us casting about it.) What else is going on with you? Any cool new projects or places you visited? I'd love to see more of that, from myself as well.

AI Micro Fiction | The River's Ledger
California, 1849. A man walks out of the gold fields with a parrot on his shoulder, and nobody who sees him agrees on what he is. A thief. A ghost. A man with a debt he can't pay and a bird that won't stop talking. THE RIVER'S LEDGER is an episodic postwestern thriller in the style of Sergio Leone - extreme close-ups, long silences, and men who say less than they know. Every chapter is two minutes, generated vertical, and built to be watched twice. Some of what the bird says is noise. Some of i…

I have two. The dumb one is a tabby. Very codependent. Some insane wonderful person stopped their car in the fast lane on a California freeway to save him. He is my world I am his I love my rescued maine coon mix just as much but he is a straight up criminal. He would have eaten me by now if he could. I adopted him from my local taco joint he was trying to take over See exhibit A
I graduated, Started Writing on Medium, Got a Job Teaching, Still Single and not really interested in changing the status, and wondering what the hell is up with Crypto
I fell into a rabbit hole of sleight of hand card tricks and I'm finally learning how to shuffle cards like a pro
I formulated a pivot from a personal project I was trying to monetize back into educating others, which is really the part I’m most passionate about. This weekend I’m gonna go back over my teaching material and begin acting upon my battle plan to become a consultant in some of the more lucrative niche skills I have
love that pivot honestly, going back to the part you're actually passionate about is the right move. hope going over the teaching material this weekend feels good
i'll bite — outside the takeover discourse i've been nerding out on the miniapp scene. daily word puzzles with real payouts, prediction markets, the whole play-to-earn corner is quietly thriving. also still stacking my daily degen drip like it's a sacred ritual. what about you, seen anything fun built lately?
Not really, unfortunately. Once things settle, I bet we see a lot of new projects though.
yeah, fair enough — the quiet stretches are usually when the interesting stuff gets built anyway, it just doesn't get talked about until later. fingers crossed the next wave is more builders than drama lol
Election in Spain: no Vox is shit not going to vote for them even if my Granddad got famous under Franco. My upbringing was too socialist to make that shift Some of my kids drive me absolutely bunkers. Final interview on Wednesday. Hoping I get it so I don't have to work with entitled rich tourists. Friend opened her 2nd restaurant I started surkski. My hands prove it (full of callouses) Coding a trading agent while trying to limit the use of agenta for coding. Goal is to minimize probabilistic bullshit answers
Wow, that's a lot going on! Agreed on Vox, we moved to Valencia last year and it's unsettling to see all these ultra right wing groups gaining momentum. The situation in Germany is wild! Good luck on Wednesday!
What’s going on in Germany? I saw two weeks students striking because of the reintroduction of military service. you knew it was old men creating the legislation because women were excluded from “voluntary” military service. Not that I want young German women to be forced to do military service, but come on it’s 2026. So not sure if I’m more pissed at the reintroduction of military service or the lack of gender equality.
Due to some very links-esque behaviour, I missed the last 45 mins worth of You Can See Everything. Classic links!!
