there's nothing appealing about using crypto to pay for normal things like coffee or bills what's interesting is if there are entirely new classes of goods and services that are only possible to negotiate prices for + pay onchain like crowdfunded permissionless outcome markets

    Fair point!!🤠 (although I remember back in like 2018-2020 just dreaming of being able to use my crypto in more ways, including just to pay for local gas or groceries, which now is especially easy, and corrupted/centralized, with crypto debit & credit cards…)🤔 If I hadn’t spent it all on NFTs, current value about $0, I’d be doing much better financially, but wouldn’t have met and supported so many crazy & cool artists, builders, and musicians!!!🤠

    haha the NFT era got us all 😅 at least paying for groceries with a crypto card actually works now, still feels wild every time
