Oh really? I’m one foot in wa and one in California so new. That is what I was told. I’ve never seen a voting center anywhere where my mom lives
They're run by the counties so maybe some do it differently. In Thurston the Elections office runs a voting center, they get thousands of in person votes coming through. And they have done mobile voting centers that travel to places like retirement communities and libraries though they have been cut to bare bones funding so not as much as they would like.
In California there is one in every small neighborhood. Churches, assisted living facilities and so many others host. I pass 3 on my short drive to the freeway. They should be everywhere
