  • Mrs and I got the big mold exposure in Montana around 4 years ago, and wild symptoms. More obvious for her, less so for me. Chased the root cause for several years across two continents and 5 countries, then all sorts of different protocols to work on treating it, with all sorts of wild adventures on the way. The NAFLD part of the puzzle was when we finally got a session with a doc who does western/eastern and he asked if anyone had pointed out the role of NAFLD and poor liver detox in some of my symptoms. 🤦‍♂️ 💡 Ofc once you're over into full body crisis mode you really need to get into a super low mold/mold free place, and those are tragically hard to find, for the actual effective root treatment. People who aren't as far gone, with good primary liver detox, can potentially right the ship on their own after getting out, but you can have so many co-factors/bonus things like heavy metals, etc etc My body is genetically/naturally less good at primary detox (liver) so my getting 10k steps a day to push volume through it, plus lots of hydration, and sweating (secondary detox) defs help too In terms of testing for actual mold exposure stuff.. the best option isn't mold urine tests, but actually blood serum looking for immune markers.. done by this place in Florida mymycolab.com/ Your lifetime exposure to all the molds you encounter leads to them colonizing your sinuses & potentially guts too, then constantly pumping mycotoxins into you. Fun stuff!

oh shit. so this could be a reason why my daughter (and i a bit less regurarly) get sick more often than we wish?

There could be a number of underlying factors but yes it could also be mold exposure You can also do an ERMI test envirobiomics.com/ around your house to see what sort of mold counts it picks up inside. This is cheaper but also somewhat problematic. The best way imo, if you can afford it, is the serum blood test one but that will only tell you if you've got the mold exposure (one category is for current, and one result category is for past/overall) If you get a result on that, then it's about trying to track it down/find it in your house, which can be more difficult for sure. Thankfully mold awareness is growing, and there are better Mold Inspectors out there, but also a lot of poor ones who go off of old info that they think is 'good enough', but in many cases... isn't. Can talk more, or in DCs etc. But bedtime here soon!
